All articles published in Intelligent Engineering Letters are published in full open access. Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, link to and reuse the full text of any article without charge.

Intelligent Engineering Letters provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. No subscription, registration or payment is required to read or download published material.

Authors who publish with Intelligent Engineering Letters retain the copyright of their work and grant the journal a right of first publication. Articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution and reproduction in any medium, provided the original work is properly cited.
Article Processing Charge (APC)
Current APC: $100
Any article processing charge applies only to manuscripts that have been accepted after peer review. Where a charge applies, it covers the costs of peer review, copy-editing, typesetting, long-term archiving and journal management. Please contact the editorial office at editor@hlpublisher.com for the current schedule before submitting.
No charge is levied at submission, and no charge is levied for manuscripts that are rejected.
Digital Archiving
This journal utilises the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries, permitting those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration purposes.
Indexing and Discoverability
Articles are exposed through OAI-PMH, an RSS/Atom feed, and a Crossref-compatible DOI registration workflow (once DOI prefix assignment is completed). Metadata is provided for indexing by scholarly search services.
